What is land Holding in Jamawandi or  What is the Account(khata/khevat) and khatauni in Jamabandi? Account / Cottage  : - Khata or Khevat means the portion or portion of land on which a landlord is occupied or occupied by more than one landowner.  It only gives information about land ownership  A person alone can be a landowner or he may be a partner (shareholder) with other people.
